Further information has surfaced in the wake of the kidnapping of Hon. Denty Laven Jacob, the member of the Plateau State House of Assembly who represents the Pankshin South Constituency.
According to reports, unidentified gunmen kidnapped Jacob on Monday from his residence in the Dong neighborhood, which is located in the state’s Jos North Local Government Area.
Kidnapers and other criminal elements have now made the region their hot spot.
A family member told It on condition of anonymity on Tuesday morning that Jacob was kidnapped after returning home from an outing with some pals, despite the state’s security services, police, and administration having not issued any statements.
According to the relative, the kidnappers must have followed the congressman from the location of his outing with his pals.

The kidnappers of Hon. Denty Laven Jacob have not contacted the family to demand a ransom as of yet, and we are currently unaware of his status.

The family member claimed that the recent surge in insecurity in Plateau State was exacerbated by this startling incidence.
